검은재나무(노린재나무과 노린재나무속)

드뎌 수목원 안에 검은재나무가 심겨져 있는 위치를 확인하였다.

헌데 이 녀석 수세가 그리 좋지 않고 가지의 퍼짐도 풍성하지가 않다.

 

한라산 계곡부에서 자생의 검은재나무를 한 번 본 적이 있긴 한데

제주도에도 몇 그루밖에 없는 희귀수종으로 학술적으로 보존이 요청되는 수종이다.

 

꽃을 볼 기회를 가질 수 있으려나 했지만

높은 곳에만 가지가 나 있어서 꽃이 핀다고 해도 그림의 떡이 될 게 뻔하다. 에혀~!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

아래쪽 잔가지 2개에 뿌리 내림을 위한 이끼 옷을 입혀 둔 게 보인다.

 

수피에는 먼지처럼 흰 피목이 점점이 뿌려져 있었다.
