상동나무(갈매나무과 상동나무속) Sageretia thea (Osbeck) M.C.Johnst.

남부 지역의 나무들은 가을에 꽃이 피어서 이듬에 봄에 열매가 익는 종류가 꽤 있다.

이 녀석도 10월에 꽃이 피어서 이듬해 4~5월에 열매가 까맣게 익는다.

가지 끝이 밑으로 길게  처지며, 소지에 8줄의 능선과 갈색 잔털이 있으며 끝이 흔히 가시로 변한다

 

 

어린 잎 앞면에 털이 보인다.

상동나무나 털상동나무나 화서의 털은같지만 털 상동나무는 잎 뒷면의 털이 많다는 것이다. 

잎 뒷면의 털을 확인하지 않아서 이 녀석이 털상동나무인지는 확인하기 어렵다.
