그 녀석은 참줄바꽃일까=>선덩굴바꽃(놋젓가락나물)

이 녀석 때문에 다시 이 고개에 올랐다. 지난 번에 대충 담아 버린 녀석을 참줄바꽃으로 정리를 했지만

소화경과 줄기 잎의 털을 제대로 담아가지 못해서 확신하기 어려웠기 때문이다.

 

[ 참줄바꽃은 꽃은 화경과 소화경에 

수평으로 퍼진 털과 안으로 굽은 짧은 털이 다소 밀생하고 화피열편 겉에 소화경과 더불어 긴 털이 밀생한다

. 자방은 5개이며 털이 없다.] 고 하니

그걸 확인해야 하고 일치하지 않으면 이 녀석의 정체를  제대로 찾아보고 싶기 때문이었다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

누가 숙제를 낸 것도 아닌데 나 혼자 이렇게 이름을 찾는 일에 열중하고 있다.

먼 길 기름값도 만만치가 않지만 궁금한 건 꼭 확인을 해 봐야 하는 내 몹쓸 성격과

그 이름을 내 스스로 찾아 내었을 때의 환희는 보고 싶어하던 꽃을 만났을 때 못지 않게 큰 성취감을 주기 때문이다.

 

이창복도감의 <참줄바꽃> 설명이다

중앙부의 잎은 엽병이 길며 3개로 전열하고 측열편은 다시 2개로 깊게 갈라진 다음 다시 우상으로 갈라지며 중앙열편은 3개이거나 우상으로 갈라지고 표면에 꼬부라진 짧은 털이 산생하며 가장자리가 다소 뒤로 말리고 뒷면에 긴 털이 드문드문 있다. 꽃은 8월에 피며 자주색이고 총상화서에 달리며 화경과 소화경에 수평으로 퍼진 털과 안으로 굽은 짧은 털이 다소 밀생하고 화피열편 겉에 소화경과 더불어 긴 털이 밀생한다. 자방은 5개이며 털이 없다. 열매는 골돌이다. 길이 1.5-2m이고 밑부분이 비스듬히 서며 윗부분은 꼬불꼬불한 덩굴성이고 밑을 향한 긴 털과 꼬부라진 짧은 털이 다소 밀생하지만 밑부분의 것은 점차 떨어진다

 

이우철 도감에는 <가는돌쩌귀와 참줄바꽃>을 함께 보고 있다. 

다년초로 줄기는 곧추서나 윗부분이 때로는 감기며 1m에 달한다. 잎은 호생하고 3개로 완전히 갈라지며 측렬편은 2개로 깊게 갈라지고 열편은 다시 우상으로 갈라져서 소열편은 선형 또는 피침형으로 끝이 뾰족하며 뒷면과 엽병에 털이 있다.   꽃은 8~9월에 청자색으로 피고 줄기 끝과 윗부분의 잎짬에 총상화서로 달리고 소화경에 황갈색의 퍼진 털이 밀생하며 중앙부의 소포는 피침형이고 긴 연모가 있다.꽃받침조각은 5개로 꽃잎 모양이고 위쪽의 것은 모자 모양이며 겉에 비교적 긴털이 많다   과실을 골돌로 5개이며 털이 없고 암술대는 뒤로 젖혀진다. 놋젓가락나물에 비하여 소화경에 황갈색의 퍼진 털이 밀생한다

 

현장에서 확인 결과 이 녀석의 줄기에는 고부라진 털과 수평으로 퍼진 털이 있었고

 

 

엽병에는 앞쪽(위쪽)으로 홈이 나 있는데 앞쪽에는 퍼진 털이 있고 뒤쪽(아래쪽) 쪽에는 고부라진 털이 있었다.

 

 

엽병 뒤쪽은 고부라진 짧은 털이 있었다.

 

도감 상의 설명으로 참줄바꽃 잎

표면에 꼬부라진 짧은 털이 산생하며 가장자리가 다소 뒤로 말리고 뒷면에 긴 털이 드문드문 있다

고 하는데 이 녀석의 잎 뒷면 맥 위에는 긴털이 있었고 가장자리가 뒤로 약간 말려 있었다.

 

 

표면에는 짧은 털이 산생(산만하게 나 있음)은 아니고 대체로 밀도 높게 덮고 있었다.  

그래도 잎 앞면에 짧은털이 산생하고 뒷면 맥 위에 긴 털이 있다는 점도 일단 기재문과 일치한다 

 

잎, 줄기, 엽병의 털은 위에서 살펴 본 바와 같이 도감의 정보와 일치하였다.

 

 

문제는 화경과 소화경의 털이었다.

화경과 소화경의 털을 확인하니 수평으로 퍼진 털은 없고 고부라진 털 밖에 안 보인다.

왼쪽의 위로 곧은 것이 퍼진 털과 고부라진 털이 있는 줄기이고, 오른쪽 잎겨드랑이에서 갈라진 가느다란 것이 화경이다

 

소화경에도 짧은 고부라진 털이고

 

화경에도 고부라진 짧은 털이다. 줄기의 퍼진 털과는 확실하게 비교가 된다

 

화피 열편(꽃받침)의 털도 설명과 다르다.

화피 열편 겉에 소화경과 더불어 긴 털이 밀생한다고 하는데

5장의 화피 열편 표면에도 긴털이 아닌 짧은 털이 밀생하고 있다.

 

골돌 열매는 주로 5개였는데 3~5개까지 보인다. 표면에 털이 안 보이는 점은 도감의 설명문과 일치한다. 

 

 

 

결국 이 녀석은 소화경과 화경의 퍼진 털이 안 보이기 때문에 참줄바꽃이 아니라는 건 확실하다. 에거거~~~!!!

그라몬 가는줄돌쩌귀가 아닐까 하던 꽃동무의 의견도 확인해 봐야한다.

이우철도감에는 가는줄돌쩌귀의 자료가 없고 이창복 도감의 가는줄돌쩌귀의 설명문은 아래와 같다. 

역시 소화경의 털이 수평으로 퍼진 긴털이라 이 녀석과 일치하지 않는다.

도데체 이 녀석의 정체는 뭐이간???

 

 <가는줄돌쩌귀>

잎은 호생하고 엽병이 길며 3개로 완전히 갈라지고 양쪽 측열편이 다시 거의 완전히 2개로 갈라져서 전체가 5개로 갈라진 것 같이 보이며 각 열편은 다시 우상으로 갈라지고 최종 열편은 폭 2-3mm로서 뒷면, 특히 맥 위에 긴 털이 많으며 표면에 짧고 굽은 털이 산생한다.꽃은 9월에 피며 청자색이고 총상화서이며 소화경에 긴 털이 수평으로 퍼져 있고 중앙부에 실모양의 소포가 있다. 꽃받침은 5개이며 꽃잎같고 겉에 전체적으로 털이 많이 있으며 자방은 5개이고 털이 없다. 열매는 골돌로서 5개이고 털이 없다.
