남구절초(국화과 구절초속)

둘째날 완도와 신지도를 연결하는 신지대교를 건너서 신지도를 탐사하기로 하고 아침 일찍 서둘렀다.

귀가에 소요되는 6시간의 운전을 생각하면 적어도 2시 이전에는 출발을 해야하기 때문이다.

완도의 수목원에 시들어 있는 남구절초를 보고 섬 해안을 살피다 보면 만날 수 있지 않을까 내심 기대를 했다.

 

해안 주변을 살피면서 천천히 이동을 하는데 솔숲에 흰꽃들이 흘낏 스쳐간다.

아무래도 남구절초 같아서 주차를 하고 다가가니

하이고야~! 아직도 싱싱하게 피어 있는 남구절초~! 반갑다. 아그야!

 

 

 

 

 

언덕 위쪽은 공원이 꾸며져 있었고 나무를 박아서 계단처럼 만들어 놓은 오름길 여기 저기 구남절초가 많이 퍼져 있다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

통상화 부분이 키큰산국처럼 크고 녹색기운이 살짝 보였다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

포천구절초나 키큰산국처럼 총포편의 길이는 거의 비슷하다.

 

 

 

잎은 결각성 톱니가 있지만 그리 깊지 않고 넓고 두터웠다.

헌데 표준식물목록에는 남구절초가 사라졌다. 서흥구절초, 낙동구절초 넓은잎구절초가 모두 구절초에 통합되었고.

남구절초도 이름이 없는 걸 보면 아마도 구절초로 통합된 것 같다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 넓은잎구절초처럼 전연하고 넓다.
