5월 말부터 피기 시작하는 애기도라지는 제주 어디서나 도로변, 볕이 잘드는 풀밭, 내창가 등에서 흔하게 볼 수 있다.
꽃은 보라색으로 도라지꽃 처럼 생겼고 열매도 도라지 열매랑 흡사하다.
그 검질같이 흔한 녀석을 제주 갈 때마다 어찌하야 잘 볼 수가 없는데
동부 중산간 습지 주변 풀밭에서 늦둥이 두어 개체가 꽃을 피운 걸 반갑게 만났다.
