홍노도라지(초롱꽃과 홍노도라지속) Peracarpa carnosa (Wall.) Hook.f. & Thomson

제주도의 개골창이나 습한 나무그늘에서 자란다.

홍노리 주변에서 처음 발견이 되어서 홍노도라지란 이름을 얻었다.

 

덩치가 작아서 찬찬히 살피지 않으면 꽃이 핀 것도 모르고 지나치기 십상이다. 

초롱꽃과에 도라지란 이름을 얻었으니 도라지꽃 비슷하긴 하지만 작아도 너무 작은 도라지 식구이다.

하기사 애기도라지도 꽃이 작긴 작다.

 

그늘을 뒤지면서 일부러 찾아 보았더니 오후 시간이라 이미 꽃을 접고 있었다. 

이 녀석도 햇살에 민감한 녀석이라서 흐린 날이나 오후 늦은 시간에는 꽃잎을 열어주지 않는다.

 

꽃부리는 백색 또는 연한 자주색이고 길이 4-8mm로서 5개로 깊게 갈라진다.

 

잎은 어긋나기 하며 난상 원형 또는 넓은 달걀모양이고 끝이 둔하거나 거의 둥글며 밑부분이 원저이고

표면에 짧은 털이 산생하며 가장자리에 둔한 톱니가 있고 엽병은 길이 5-15㎜이다.
