솜아마존(협죽도과 백미꽃속)

제주의 동쪽 들판 미로의 끝 지점 한 곳에 이렇게 노란별도 한 가득 쏟아져 내렸다.

헌데 우리의 아름다운 이름이 그렇게 많을텐데 왜 아마존일까?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

꽃은 6-7월에 피고 지름 1cm정도로서 연한 황색이며 취산화서는 엽액에서 나오고 잎보다 대개 짧거나 같으며 소화경은 길이 3-7mm이다.

꽃받침잎은 5개로서 좁은 삼각형이고 때로는 가장자리에 잔털이 있으며 꽃잎은 난상 삼각형으로서 길이 3mm이고

부화관의 열편이 반원형이다. 화관 안쪽에만 털이 있다

 

 

 

잎은 대생, 엽병이 없고 원줄기를 반 정도 감싸며, 도란상 긴 타원형 또는 긴 타원형, 길이 4-8cm, 폭 2-4cm,

가장자리는 밋밋하고, 끝이 뾰족하다.
