까치수염(앵초과 참좁쌀풀속) Lysimachia mauritiana Lam.

꿈도 컸지.

섬까치수염 찾는다꼬 같은 장소를 뱅뱅 돌기를 한 시간.

정보를 준 꽃동무와 통화를 하려니 불통 지역이라 다시 통화 지역으로 이동하여 통화하고도

조릿대가 없는 곳으로 들어가라는데 꽃동무의 기억이 정확하지 않은지

숲 가장자리에 빈 곳이 없이 꽉들어 찬 풀들로 당최 비스무리한 곳도 나타나지 않는다.

 

몇 번을 오르내리다가 더 이상 시간을 버릴 수가 없어서 결국 포기하였는데..

 

뒷 날 아침 탐라까치수염이라도 찾아야겠다고 작은 봉에 잰 걸음으로 올라갔다가 다시 내려가 보니....

까치수염 녀석이 배실거린다. 흐윽~~!!

 

 

 

"요~! 아래 내려 가마 탐라까치수염이 있어요"

 

2월 말 경 개구리갓과 산자고가 일찍 피는 이 작은 봉에서 입을 다물고 있는 산자고에 입맛만 다시고 있는데

그런 나를 지켜 보던 산불 감시원 아자씨가 어제는 날이 좋아서 꽃이 활짝 피었더랬다면 말 걸어 오더니

큰 인심이라도 쓰 듯이 아래쪽에 탐라까치수염이 있다는 정보를 준다.

 

새로운 정보에 반색을 하며 까치수염이 필 때 내려오면 찾아 보리라 기억을 해두었던 터 였는데...

그 아자씨도 꽃동무들이 하는 부정확한 말들을 주워들은 게 분명한 것 같다.

 

그러느라고 전 날처럼 또 한 시간을 허비하고 말았다.

에혀~!! 그 산불조심 지키미 아자씨 말을 믿은 내가 잘못이지.

 

그래도 뭐, 안 가보면 계속 궁거웠을테고 이렇게라도 확인을 했으니 속은 시원하다.

 

 

탐라까치수염은 잎이 돌려나기를 한다는데....
