한국의 쥐똥나무속 분류학적 재검토

 

 

A taxonomic revision of Korean Ligustrum species is presented based on critical observations of wild populations and herbarium specimens. Species delimitations were re-evaluated on the basis of morphological characters, such as plant height, texture and shape of leaf, shape of inflorescence, shape of drupe and seed, and texture of endocarp. From the results, L. leucanthum (¼ L. acutissimum), being recorded in Korea, is excluded from the Korean flora because it comes from misidentifications of the herbarium specimen, whose identity is L. obtusifolium. We also treated L.obtusifolium subsp. suave and L. obtusifolium subsp. microphyllum as synonyms of L.obtusifolium. Ligustrum quihoui var. latifolium is placed into synonym of L. quihoui. In addition, the record of L. ovalifolium from Korea has proved to be a misidentification of herbarium specimens, the correct identity of which is L. salicinum. Consequently, we recognized the following six Ligustrum species in Korea: L. japonicum, L. lucidum, L. quihoui, L. salicinum, L. foliosum, and L. obtusifolium. Photographs and a key to six species of Ligustrum were provided in addition to complete descriptions including information on nomenclatural types, synonyms, and taxo￾nomic notes.

 

야생 개체군과 표본에 대한 면밀한 관찰을 바탕으로 한국 Ligustrum 속의 분류학적 개정을 제시한다. 식물 높이, 잎의 질감과 형태, 꽃차례의 형태, 열매와 종자의 형태, 내과피의 질감과 같은 형태학적 특징을 기반으로 종의 경계를 재평가했다.  그 결과, 한국에 기록된 L. leucanthum (¼ L. acutissimum)은 표본의 오동정에서 비롯된 것으로 판단되어 한국 식물상에서 제외되었다. 해당 표본의 정확한 종은 L. obtusifolium이다. 또한, L. obtusifolium subsp. suave와 L. obtusifolium subsp. microphyllum은 L. obtusifolium의 동의어로 처리하였다. Ligustrum quihoui var. latifolium은 L. quihoui의 동의어로 처리하였다.  또한, 한국에서 발견된 L. ovalifolium의 기록은 표본 오동정으로 밝혀졌으며, 정확한 종은 L. salicinum입니다. 따라서, 우리는 한국에서 다음과 같은 6종의 Ligustrum 종을 인정한다: L. japonicum, L. lucidum, L. quihoui, L. salicinum, L. foliosum, 그리고 L. obtusifolium. 본 논문에서는 명명기준표본, 동의어, 분류학적 주석을 포함한 상세한 기재와 함께 6종의 Ligustrum 종에 대한 사진과 검색표를 제공한다.

 

 

위 논문에서 국내 분포하는 쥐똥나무속 분류군을

광나무, 당광나무, 상동잎쥐똥나무, 버들쥐똥나무, 섬쥐똥나무, 쥐똥나무 6종으로 정리하였다.

 

가장 중요한 내용은 산동쥐똥나무 Ligustrum leucanthum 는 표본의 오동정으로 국내 분포하지 않으며

제주도의 왕쥐똥나무도 오동정이라 버들쥐똥나무로 국명 신칭하고 학명도 수정되었다. .

 

일단 논문의 내용을 바탕으로 내 블러그의 쥐똥나무속 자료를 재검토하여 정리를 다시 한다.

결국 그동안 산동쥐똥나무가 아닐까 했던 자료는 모두 쥐똥나무로 재동정하고

왕쥐똥나무로 기록했던 것은 모두 버들쥐똥나무로 정정한다.

상동잎쥐똥나무는 내가 아직 만나보지 못한 것으로 정리가 된다.

상동잎쥐똥나무 Ligustrum quihoui Carrière 

꽃이 작고 화서가지가 발달, 화관 통부와 화피열편의 길이가 비슷, 암술대 길이가 꽃받침보다 짧다.

수술대가 화관 밖으로 둘출한다. 전라남도 진도 및 해남의 바닷가 산지에 분포

 

 

버들쥐똥나무 Ligustrum salicinum Nakai(그 동안 왕쥐똥나무로 오동정되었음)

꽃차례의 길이는 15~20㎝, 지름 10~15㎝로서 잔털이 밀생,

꽃받침 조각은 털이 없으며 화관열편은 화통과 길이가 비슷하고 수술이 화관의 열편보다 길다.
