유채(배추과 배추속) Brassica napus L.

재배식물이지만 

해안과 주택가, 경작지 주변에 여기 저기 야생으로 자라고 있다. 

갓과 달리 잎이 매끈하고 줄기잎 아래가 귀처럼 줄기를 감싸고 있다.

 

아래쪽 줄기에 달린 잎은 긴 잎자루가 있으며 잎가장자리는 깊게 갈라진다. 끝이 둔한 치아모양톱니가 있으며 표면은 매끄러우며 녹색이고 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌며 엽병에 자줏빛이 도는 것도 있다. 위쪽 줄기에 달린 잎은 밑부분이 귀처럼 처져서 원줄기를 둘러싸고 넓은 피침형이며 잎자루가 없고 끝은 가늘고 갈라지지 않는다.
