오랜만에 산사 숲에 들렀다.
여고 후배가 동네 초입에 넓게 터를 잡고 갤러리와 그림 작업실을 운영하는 곳.
가끔 이 곳을 지나면 그녀의 안부를 물으면서 잠시 이야기를 나누곤 한다.
간호사 생활을 접고 하고싶던 그림을 위하여 늦은 나이에 미술대학교에 들어 가서 학부를 마치고
유럽 쪽으로 유학까지 다녀온 화가 김종희.
자신의 꿈을 위하여 과감히 도전을 할 수 있는 용기는 후배가 아닌 선배이다.
육순이 다 된 나이에 뒤늦게 의사와 결혼하여 친구처럼 살아가는 그녀의 인생에 박수를 보낸다.
개암나무 암꽃의 붉은 촉수가 그녀의 인생처럼 정열적이다.
