섬바디(산형과 섬바디속) Dystaenia takesimana (Nakai) Kitag.

풍랑주의보가 내려서 배가 뜨지 않으니 하루를 더 머물러야 했다. 

비가 뿌리는 해안도로를 따라 차를 몰다가 잠깐씩 차를 세우고 식생을 살피는데

섬바디가 도로 사면을 하얗게 덮고 있다.

 

울릉도에만 자생하는 한국고유종이다
