달뿌리풀(벼과 갈대속) Phragmites japonicus Steud.

드뎌 달뿌리풀이 개화를 시작하였다. 이삭이 패고 나서도 한참을 기다렸다. 

늘 이삭 초기나 열매기에만 봐왔던 터라 개화 모습을 처음 관찰하게 되었는데 퍽 생소한 느낌이었다.

 

소수의 소화마다 암술과 수술이 달랑 거리고 있고 포영은 소화들이 꽃을 잘 피우도록 최대한 공간을 벌려 주었다.
