자생의 자도나무(장미과 벚나무속) 열매 Prunus salicina Lindi.

이 녀석 열매가 다 익었지 싶었는데 달포 전과 크기는 거의 그대로인 것 같고

익어도 황록색이라더니 표면의 백분이 거의 사라져서 색이 맑아졌다. 

 

한 달 전에 찾았을 때 이 녀석을 휘감아 덮고 있던 노박덩굴을 제거해 주지 못하여 내내 마음이 쓰였는데

이번에는 작정하고 30 여분 동안 노박덩굴을 제거해 주었다.

마침 차에 실려 있던 고절기를 이용하니 쉽게 제거가 되었는데

덕분에 땀은 좀 흘렸지만 시원하게 노박덩굴옷을 벗은 모습을 보고 혼자 흐뭇하였다.

 

 

열매는 지름 18~20mm 정도로 황록색으로 익는데

시기적으로 봐서 다 익은 상태가 아닐까 하는데 말랑하지 않고 딱딱하였다. 

과육을 먹어보니 엄청 시고 떱떱하였다.
