중국황철나무(버드나무과 사시나무속) Populus cathayana Rehder

겨울눈은 길며 점질이 약간 있고 잔가지는 능선이 있으며 적갈색이고 털이 없다.

잎은 마름모 비슷한 난형이며 끝이 급하게 뾰족해지며 밑은 둥글거나 심장 모양 비슷하며 길이 6~12cm이다. 잎 가장자리에 잔 톱니가 있고 털이 없으며 표면은 연한 녹색이지만 뒷면은 흰빛이 돈다. 잎자루는 길이 2~6cm로서 대개 붉은빛이 돈다.

잎의 중앙부 이하가 가장 넓고 밑은 둥글거나 심장 모양 비슷하며 잎자루의 길이가 2~6cm이고, 삭과가 3~4개로 갈라지는 형태가 특징이다.

한반도 평양 이북에서 식재하거 자생하며, 몽골, 중국 등에 분포한다.

 

 

 

긴 가지의 잎은 타원형 또는 난상 타원형이고 길이 7-15cm로서 짧은 점첨두이며 원저 또는 아심장저이고

엽병은 길이 5-15cm로서 붉은 빛이 돈다.
