향선나무(물푸레나무과)

2017. 6. 초순.

 

십자화과 귀화식물인 주름구슬냉이와 길뚝개꽃을 보려고 남도 먼길 갔다가 돌아오는 길에 수목원에 들렀다.

광릉수목원에서 한 번 본 적이 있는 중국원산 향선나무가 비스듬하게 지쳐 있는 모습이 눈에 들어 온다. 정원수로 더러 심는 모양인데 꽃을 자잘하여 크게 시선을 끌지 않지만 열매는 미선나무 열매 비슷하단다.
