차를 몰고 가는데 산 자락 언덕배기에 엄청 큰 살구나무가 화사하게 꽃을 피운 게 눈에 들어 온다.
올해는 꼭 개살구나무 꽃을 보려고 작정하고 있는데 혹시나 개살구가 아닐까 싶어서
줄딸기와 찔레 덩굴에 찔리면서 어기적거리고 기어 오르니 에구....수피에 코르크질이 거의 없고 그냥 갈라져 있다.
민가와 밭이 옆에 있으니 아마도 심어 놓았던게 관리되지 않고 자연스레 숲의 일원이 되어 버린 게 아닐까 짐작을 하는데.....
그런데 꽃자루가 길다. 아무래도 개살구나무로 보여서 며칠 후 확인차 다시 찾았더니 모두 꽃자루가 길게 자라있었다.
경북쪽의 개살구나무 수피는 강원도 보다 얇은 것 같다.
주말에 개살구로 추정되는 녀석들이 군락으로 자라는 곳을 찾으러 가려는데 화기가 맞을랑가 모르겄다.
개살구는 화경도 더 길고 수피의 코르크질이 발달해 있고 잎 뒷면에 털이 많다.
이 녀석은 수피의 코르크질은 발달해 있지는 않지만
여태 담아온 살구나무는 꽃자루가 전혀 안 나타나는데 이 녀석은 꽃자루가 좀 있어서 긴가민가 하다.
혹시나 개살구나무일지 잎과 열매를 관찰하러 다시 찾아야겠다.
4. 16일 꽃이 진 후 다시 찾아 가 보았더니 꽃자루가 모두 이렇게 길어져 있다.
이 녀석도 역시 개살구나무였다 더 정확하게 확인하려면 잎이 다 자란 모습을 확인하면 된다.
경북의 개살구나무 수피는 코르크질이 그리 발달하지 않았다.
