잎이 많이 갈라지는 모습을 하는 제주특산식물이다.

총포 및 소총포는 선형으로 총포는 0-2개, 소총포는 2-5개로 다수 존재한다.

 

복산형화서는 화경이 7-9개로 소수가 달리고 소화경은 8-15개이다.

꽃은 백색으로 꽃받침이 뚜렷하고 꽃잎과 수술은 각각 5개이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 근엽과 경엽이 1-2회 3출복엽으로 근엽은 개화시까지 그대로 남는다고 하며,

잎의 양면에 털이 산생하는게 관찰이 된다

특히 엽연과 주맥의 다세포 털은 2-4마디를 가지며 마디 부분이 잘록하다고 하는데 현미경으로 들여다 봐야 확인이 가능 할 것 같다.
