앵도나무(장미과 벚나무속) 열매

어릴 적 집 뒷뜰에 심겨져 있는 앵두나무는 모심기가 시작될 때 쯤이면 빨갛게 익었다

바가지 가득 앵도나무 열매를 따다가 툇마루 끝에 앉아서 오물거리면서 씨앗을 뱉어내곤 하였다.

집 마당에 있어야 어울릴 것만 같아서 이 녀석이 야생에 자라는 모습이 참 생소하다.
