앵도나무(장미과)

다른 녀석을 보러 들렀다가 다 시들어 가는 앵두 꽃이 보이길래 어릴 적 생각이 나서 몇 장 담아 왔다.

 

어릴 적 집 뒤안에 앵두나무가 두 그루 있었다.

보리가 익어갈 때 쯤이면 바가지를 들고 앵두나무 아래를 서성이곤 했는데

말갛게 익은 앵두 열매는 아기 피부처럼 터질 듯 하여 조심스레 따서 바가지에 담았더랬다.

 

헌데 그 바가지에는 정작 몇 알 담기지도 못하고 한 웅큼 쥐어서는 입에 넣기에 바빴는데

동생이랑 더 먹었다고 다투다가 엄니한테 혼쭐이 난 적도 있었다.

지금 그 뒤안의 앵두나무는 벌써 사라져 버렸고 거친 시멘트 바닥으로 덮여 있어서 붉은 앵두 열매가 그립다.
