산옥매(장미과 벚나무속)

이스라지와 같은 시기에 꽃을 피우고 꽃달림이 비슷하여 목본류에 익숙하지 않은 사람들을 헷갈리게 한다.

 

이스라지는 얕은 산 건조하고 볕이 잘 드는 곳에서 흔하게 볼 수 있지만

산옥매는 대부분 정원수로 식재해 두고 자생에서는 거의 보기 힘들다.

 

산옥매는 꽃색도 더 붉고 꽃자루도 짧으며 잎이 장타원상 피침형으로 이스라지에 비하여 잎이 좁고 길다 

 

정원수로 3그루를 심은지 5년 째인데 이렇게 풍성하게 꽃을 피웠다.

 

 

이스라지보다 꽃자루가 짧다. 

 

잎은 타원형으로 잎자루가 짧고 불규칙한 자잘한 겹톱니가 있다.
