개복수초(미나리아재비과)

겨울 방학동안 멀리 나가지 못하여 갑갑했던 차에 방학이 끝나기 전에 눈 쌓인 산에 올랐다.

여름에 꼭 봐야 할 녀석이 있어서 답사차 운동 삼아서 둔한 발걸음 옮겼더니 장딴지에 알이 박혔지만 기분은 좋다.

 

마침 가까운 해안에 복수초 소식이 있어서 녀석을 보지 않고 갔다가는 후회할 것 같아서 40여 분 거리를 이동하였다.

4시가 훨씬 넘은 늦은 시각이었지만 꽃잎 닫지 않고 기다려준 녀석이 고맙다.

비탈이 심한 곳이라 미끄러져 내린 흙을 보니 복수초를 찾은 사람들이 꽤 있었던 모양이다.

 

마악 올라오는 봉오리 싹들이 발길에 뭉개어지고 부러진 흔적이 많이 보이는데 꽃도 피워보지 못한 녀석들을 생각하니 마음이 짠하다.

내 발걸음 디딘 자리에도 고개 내미는 녀석들 있었을 것인데 죄를 짓는 기분이다. 그래서 너무 이른 시기에 꽃을 찾아다니지 말래는 거다.
