너는 무슨 죄를 지었길래 이리도 커다란 목책 안에 갇혀 있다더냐?

너를 너무 탐하는 검은 손길로부터 보호하기 위함이란 건 알겠지만 너로서는 답답하기 짝이 없겠구나.

너의 고운 꽃술에 입맞춤 한번 해 줄려해도 내 너에게 가까이 다가갈 수 없으니 나를 탓하지 말그라.

 

멸종위기 2급으로 울릉도에 자생하는 한국 특산식물이다. 사람 발길 빈번한 곳은 많이 남채되어 찾아보기 힘들 정도이다.

 

 

 

꽃은 황색으로 줄기나 가지끝에 겹산형화서로 달린다. 포엽과 소포엽은 각 5개이고 끝이 뾰족하며 밑부분이 심장저이고 소화경과 자방에 털이 없다. 꽃받침은 거의 없으며 꽃잎은 도란형이고 황색으로서 안쪽으로 굽으며 끝이 뾰족하고 5개의 수술은 꽃잎과 호생하며 꽃밥은 난형이고 황색이다

 

 

 

잎은 거의 2줄로 배열되어 호생하며 표면은 녹색이고 뒷면은 회청색이며

근생엽은 총생하고 엽병은 길이 12-18cm로서 밑부분이 넓으며 안쪽에 있는 것과 원줄기를 감싼다.

엽신은 넓은 난형이고 11맥이 있으며 끝이 뾰족하고 밑부분이 수평이거나 심장저로서 갑자기 좁아지며 길이 6~13cm, 폭 4.5~11cm이고 가장자리는 파상이다.

 

 

밑의 경생엽은 짧은 엽병에 날개가 있으며 원줄기를 감싸고 11개의 조선이 있으며 윗부분의 것은 엽병이 없고 긴 타원상 난형이며

완전히 원줄기를 감싼다. 총포와 작은 총포는 각각 5장, 끝이 뾰족하고 밑은 심장형이다.
