이리도 고운 아이를 만나려고 2시간 30분 거리 정신 없이 달렸다.
올해 백작약이라도 볼까 해서 번개에도 참석하고 몇 번 백작약을 찾긴 했지만 이미 꽃이 다 떨어진 상태이고....
결국 올해도 작약꽃 구경 못하고 넘겨야 하나 보다 포기하고 있던 차였다.
작약꽃을 노래를 부르는 내게 산작약 꽃이 피었다는 소식은 귀가 번쩍 떠지는 소식이라.
새벽부터 주섬주섬 짐을 챙겨 출발한 거였다.
평소에는 그렇게도 일어나기 싫어 꾸물대지만 꽃출사를 나가는 주말이면 우째 그리도 잠이 잘 깨는지...
산작약, 백작약, 참작약....야생의 작약이라고는 난생 처음 만나는데 그것도 화기가 2~3일 밖에 안 되니
산작약 꽃을 본다는 것은 하늘에 별따기 만큼 어렵다고 한다.
도로공사로 인하여 자생지가 헐리는 걸 알고 구출된 녀석이라. 우선 안전한 곳에 옮겨진 상태란다.
자리를 옮긴 스트레스로 한 해를 거르고 올해 모두 곱게도 꽃을 피웠단다.
아이갸~~! 귀엽기도 해라.
탁구공만 한 꽃송이 5장의 분홍 꽃잎이 앙징스러운 다섯살박이 조막손 같다.
꽃잎은 적색이며 5-7개로서 도란형이고 길이 2-3cm이다. 수술은 많으며 꽃밥은 길이 5-7mm이다.
자방은 3-4개이며 암술은 3-4개이고 암술대는 길게 자라서 뒤로 말린다.
다른 작약에 비하여 꽃대가 유난히 길다.
