참작약(작약과 작약속)

경북, 강원 동해안과 영월 주변의 석회암 지역을 중심으로 분포하고 있는 녀석이다.

 

백작약과 달리 정소엽의 아랫부분이 엽축으로 날개처럼 흘러내리는 점과

열매 표면에 털이 많은 점도 참작약의 특징으로 별도의 분류군으로 구분되어 있었는데

국가표준식물목록에는 참작약, 호작약이 작약의 이명으로 처리가 되어 버렸다.
