문경의 어느 산에 볼 것이 있어서 찾았다가 아무래도 작약인데 좀 이상하여 담아 온 녀석이다.
엽신이 엽축을따라 흘러서 날개처럼 보이고 정소엽과 측엽이 2~3개로 갈라진 잎이 참작약으로 확인이 되었다.
이듬해 꽃이 핀 걸 확인하고 싶어서 가 보려 했지만 우째 시간을 맞추지 못하고 그냥 시기를 넘겨 버렸다.
주변이 나무가 우거져서 개화 조건이 맞지 않으니 꽃을 피울 수 없을 거란 이야기에 걱정이 되긴 했는데.....
근생엽은 1-2회 우상으로 갈라지며 윗부분의 것은 3개로 깊게 갈라지기도 하고 밑부분이 엽병으로 날개처럼 흐른다.
양면에 털이 없으며 표면은 짙은 녹색이고 가장자리가 밋밋하며 소엽이 갈라지는 부위게 붉은 빛이 돈다
참작약의 열매는 골돌로서 2-5개이고 난형이며 갈색의 거친 털이 밀생하는데 백작약의 열매에는 털이 없다.
