마당에 있는 모란 나무에 꽃이 활짝 폈다. 아버지 살아 계실적에 심었던 녀석이니까 15년은 훨씬 넘었다.
거름기가 없어서 해마다 기력이 쇠하는 것 같아서 안쓰럽다. 내년 봄에응 거름 비료를 좀 넣어 줘야겠다.
초보들은 모란과 작약을 구분하기 어려워 하는데, 모란은 목본으로 지상위의 묵은 가지 끝에 잎눈과 꽃눈이 싹 트고,
작약은 초본으로 뿌리로 겨울을 나다가 싹이 돋으면서 줄기가 자라면서 꽃이 핀다.
