덩굴용담(용담과)

한라산 아랫 동네에는 흐리기만 하지만 산 정상에 구름이 덮여 있는 걸로 봐서 비가 오고 있다.  

윗세오름에 오르려고 했던 계획이 비 때문에 바뀌어지는 바람에 이 녀석을 못 볼 줄 알았다.

 

1100 습지 부근에서 물매화를 보려고 차를 멈추었는데 앞서 가던 꽃동무가 덩굴용담이 있다고 손짓을 한다.

이야호~! 부리나케 다가가니 가느다란 줄기에 하얗게 매달린 꽃송이가 너무 반갑다.

아침 일찍 내린 비로 아직 물기가 마르지 않았다. 꽃색이 주로 홍자색인데 이 녀석은 흰색이다

 

이 녀석은 제주도나 설악산에 가야만 만날 수 있는 녀석이라 이번에 꼭 보려고 했었는데 ㅎㅎㅎ....내 꽃 복이여.

이 녀석  빨갛게 익은 열매도 보고 싶은데.....

 

 

 

꽃은 9-10월에 피고 홍자색이며 화경이 짧고 윗부분의 엽액에 1송씩 달리며 꽃받침통은 길이 6-8mm로서에 5개의 좁은 날개가 있고

열편은 선형이며 통부와 길이가 비슷하거나 다소 길다.

화관은 길이 3cm 정도로서 밑부분이 점차 좁아지고 열편은 좁은 삼각형이며 열편 사이의 부편이 약간 돌출하고 수술은 5개이며

화관 통부에 붙어 있고 자방은 대가 있어 서 꽃이 진 다음 길게 자란다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

가느다란 덩굴 줄기에 매달린 별 같은 용담 꽃이 참으로 귀엽다.

 

  

잎은 대생, 긴 난형 또는 난상 피침형, 끝이 길게 뾰족하고, 심장저 또는 원저, 길이 4~8cm, 폭 12~35mm, 3맥이 있으며,

표면은 짙은 녹색, 뒷면은 연한 녹색으로서 흔히 자줏빛이 돌고, 가장자리는 밋밋, 엽병은 길이 5-15mm이다
