파리풀이란 이름이 어디서 유래한 걸까?

뭐 이 녀석을 으깬 즙으로 파리를 잡는대나 뭐래나 하는데

그 건 확인 해 본 일이 없으니 그렇게 알기에는 무리가 있는 듯하고..

아무튼 꽃 모양이 아주 개성 있는 녀석이다. 오리방풀, 산박하, 방아풀과 함게 여름 풀숲을 차지하는 녀석 중 하나다.

 

 

 

 이 녀석 열매는 까락이 잇어서 옷이나 다른 물체에 잘 붙는다. 가을 풀숩에 잘못 다니다가

이 녀석 열매로 바짓가랑이를 도배를 당할 수가 있다.

 

 

꽃받침은 통상 순형이며 5개의 능선이 있고 길이 3mm이지만 성숙하면 5-6mm로 되며

뒤쪽 3개의 열편은 가시처럼 되어 다른 물체에 잘 붙고 까락은 길이 1.5mm이다.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

잎은 대생하며 엽병이 길고 박질(薄質)이며난 난형 또는 삼각상 넓은 난형이고 예두, 넓은 예저이며

길이 7-9cm, 나비 4-7cm로서 양면, 특히 맥 위에 털이 많고 가장자리에 톱니가 있다. 엽저가 잎자루로 살짝 날개처럼 흐른다.

 

 

높이가 70cm에 달하고 마디 바로 윗부분이 두드러지게 굵다.

전체에 잔털이 산생하고 줄기는 곧게 서며 마디 사이의 하부가 팽대해 있다.
