참통발(통발과 땅귀개속) Utricularia tenuicaulis Miki

참 신기한 녀석이다.

물 속 줄기에 가늘게 처럼 갈라진 잎에 포충낭을 매달고 물속 벌레들을 먹이 사냥한다는데 이리도 곱게 꽃을 피우다니.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

작은 동물이 접근해와 판의 표면에 나와 있는 털에 부딪치게 되면, 갑자기 판이 열리고 물이 재빠르게 유입되어 먹이를 안쪽으로 빨아들이고 소화시킨다. 그뒤 판은 약 0.03초 내에 다시 닫히며, 15~30분 이내에 물을 외부로 빼냄으로써 주머니는 다시 원래의 상태로 되돌아간다.

 

  

 검은 점처럼 보이는 것이 통발의 포충낭이다.

벌레주머니는 유연한 판에 의해 입구가 닫혀 있는 속이 빈 구조이다.
