봉정사 스님들이 가꾸는 채전밭에 갖가지 채소류가 자라고 있다.

아욱은 국거리 채소로 많이 이용하는데, 거의 채소로서의 소임을 다하고 꽃이 피고 열매를 맺었다.

 

아욱은 잎이나 꽃을 보면 꼭 당아욱이나 미니 접시꽃 같다.

아욱과는 잎이나 꽃 모양이 참말로 많이 닮았다. 난쟁이아욱, 애기아욱, 당아욱, 접시꽃....

제주에서 본 국화잎 아욱만 잎이 다르다.
