개회나무(물푸레나무과 수수꽃다리속) Syringa reticulata subsp. amurensis (Rupr.) P.S. Green & M.C. Chang

산 계곡 주변에는 하얗게 개회나무가 꽃을 피웠다.

깅원도 높은 산에는 개회나무, 꽃개회나무, 정향나무가 진한 향을 날리고 있다.

참! 5월에 의성에서 담은 녀석이 아무래도 정향나무가 아니라

 털개회나무 일것 같아서 확인하다가 그만 두었는데 일간 그 녀석에 대한 동정을 확실하게 해야겠다.

 

개회나무는 꽃색이 희고 꽃술이 화관 밖으로 길게 빠져나오는게 꽃개회나 정향나무와 다르다.

 

꽃은 양성화로 6월에 피며 전년지 끝에 길이 10-25cm, 지름 10-15cm의 원추화서를 이루며, 화서에는 털이 있거나 없다.

화관은 지름 5-6mm로 백색이고 통부는 길이 2mm이며, 열편은 길이 3mm로 안쪽으로 굽으며

수술은 2개, 암술은 1개이고

자방은 둥글며 2실이고 털이 없다. 향기가 좋으며 밀원으로도 훌륭하다.

 

  

 

 

 

 

 잎

 

잎은 대생하며 넓은 난형 또는 난형이고 급한 점첨두이며 예저, 원저 또는 약간 심장저이고

길이 5-12cm, 폭 3.5-9cm로서 양면에 털이 없으며 가장자리가 밋밋하고 엽병은 길이 1-2cm로 털이 없다.
