가죽나무(소태나무과 가죽나무속) Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle

가죽나무가 이렇게 화사하게 꽃이 피었던가?

이 녀석 꽃피는 거 눈여겨 봐 주질 않았더니 생각 외로 곱다.

난초 하나 찾으려고 산을 헤매는데 남사면 길 옆에 하얗게 꽃을 피우고 시선을 끌고 있다.

 

참죽나무 어린 순은 묵나물이나 절임나물로 우리 식탁을 맛나게 해 주기도 하던데.

가죽나무 순 씹는 느낌이 그리 호감이 가지는 않았다.

 

 

원추화서는 가지 끝에 달리고 길이 10-30cm이며 꽃은 자웅이가화로서 지름 7-8mm이고 녹색이 도는 백색으로 6-8월에 개화한다.

꽃받침은 5개로 갈라지며 5개의 꽃잎은 끝이 안으로 꼬부라지고 수술은 10개이며 5심피로 된 자방의 암술대가 5개로 갈라진다. 

 

 

 

 

잎은 호생하고 기수1회우상복엽으로 길이 60-80cm이며 소엽은 13-25개이고 넓은 피침상 난형이며 점첨두이고 예저 또는 원저이며

길이 7-13cm 폭 5cm로서 연모가 있고 하반부에 2-4개의 톱니와 선점이 있으며 표면은 진한 녹색 뒷면은 연한 녹색으로 털이 없다.
