갯질경(갯질경과 갯질경속) Limonium tetragonum (Thunb.) Bullock

갯패랭이를 들여다 보느라고 이 녀석 근생엽만 있는 줄 알았더니 딱 한포기에 꽃이 핀 게 보인다.

아니다. 꽃이 다 지고 있는데 겨우 몇송이 노란 꽃이 남아 있다.

분명 제철이 아닌데 성질 급한 녀석이 꽃을 피워버린 거다.

 

이 녀석들은 이름이 비슷한 녀석들이 있어서 돌아서면 또 헷갈린다.

국명을 명명할 때 쫌 쉽게 하지 그렇게 비슷하게 이름을 붙여 놓을게 뭐람.

 잎은 뿌리에서 총생하고 사방으로 퍼지며 긴 타원상 주걱형이고 끝이 둥글며

밑부분이 좁아져서 엽병처럼 되고 털이 없으며 가장자리가 밋밋하고 밑부분에 3맥이 있다.
