개질경이(질경이과 질경이속) Plantago camtschatica Cham. ex Link

잎 양면이 흰 털로 덮여 있는 완전 털보이다. 

털이 많은 녀석으로 털질경이와 개질경이가 있는데

 

털질경이의 털은 잔털이고 개질경이의 털은 흰털이며,

털질경이의 잎은 잔털과 평행한 5맥이 있고 밋밋하거나 얕은 치아상 톱니가 있고

개질경이는 잎에 백색털이 있고 가장자리가 밋밋하거나 파상이다

 

털질경이는 화서와 꽃대의 길이가 비슷하며(화경10-30cm 화수 5-15cm) 화경에 세로로 줄이 있으며 털이 있다

개질경이는 화서보다 꽃대가 더 길다.(화경 15-30cm, 화수 3-10cm)

개질경이는 전국 바닷가에 서식을 하고, 털질경이는 서식지에 대한 언급이 없다

 

이 녀석을 담아 와서 <개>인듯 정리하려는데 <개>와 <털> 두 녀석의 특징이 섞여 있어서 판단을 내리기 힘들다.

아래 녀석은 그림상으로 보면 화경이 화수에 비하여 더 길게 보이는 게 개질경이 같다.

 

 

헌데 이 녀석은 잎에 치아상 톱니가 있고 잎맥이 5줄이고, 화경에 털이 있다. 그러면 털질경이로 볼 수 있다.

그런데 이 털을 잔털로 봐야 하나? 아니면 백색털로 봐야 하나? 고민이다.

 

 

 

 

이 녀석은  화경에 세로로 줄이 보이고 털이 있다.

털질경이는 화경에 세로로 줄이 있고 털이 있다고 한다. 개질경이는 화경에 대한 언급이 없다.

 

 

 

이 녀석은 화경과 화수의 길이가 비슷하다. 그렇다면 털질경이로 볼 수 있다.

 

 

하 ~! 이 녀석은 물결성과 얕은 치아상 톱니도 보인다.
