층층나무(층층나무과 층층나무속) Cornus controversa Hemsl.

어찌하다 보니 층층나무 꽃이 한창일 때 꽃을 못 담았다.  

말채나무와 비교 자료에 층층나무 꽃 자료가 빠졌더랬는데 늦게 핀 녀석이 있어서 간신히 자료를 확보하였다.

꽃이 피는 시기는 그리 길지 않아서 때를 놓쳐버리면 일년을 기다려야 한다.

휘유~! 늦둥이 덕분에 다행이다.

잎측맥	4~5쌍	5-10쌍	6-10쌍
잎나기	마주나기넓은 난형 또는 타원형표면에 복모가 약간 있으며 뒷면은 흰빛이 돌고 거센 복모가 있음	어긋나기넓은 난형 또는 타원상 난형녹색이며 어릴때 복모가 약간 있고 뒷면은 백색으로서 잔털이 밀생	마주나기 타원형, 넓은 타원형, 넓은 난형잎 표면에 잔복모, 뒷면은 회백색으로 털이 많다.
엽병	1~3cm	3~5cm로 붉은 빛이 돌고 털이 있으나 점차 없어짐	1-3㎝로서 털이 없다.
화서	가지 끝에 취산화서	햇가지 끝에 산방상	햇가지 끝의 원추상 산형화서
화경	1.5-2.5cm, 거센 털이 있음	1-3cm	3-4㎝로서 털이 없다.
어린가지	붉은색, 소지에 털이 있으나 점차 없어진다.	붉은 빛의 윤채가 나고 피목이 산재잔가지가 층층으로 남	털이 없고 황갈색 또는 적갈색 광택이 남
수피	흑갈색, 감나무 수피처럼 세로로 갈라짐	얕게 세로로 홈이 져서 터짐	회갈색, 불규칙하게 세로로 갈라짐

 

 

 

햇가지 끝에 산방상으로 핀다.

 

 

 

잎맥이 5~10개로 말채나무보다 더 많으며, 어린 가지는 붉고 수피는 평활한 편이다.

잎자루도 붉고 말채나무보다 더 길다.

 

 

어린가지는 붉은 빛의 윤채가 나고 피목이 산재한다.
