애기땅빈대(대극과 대극속) Euphorbia maculata L.

잎은 대생하고 장 타원형으로 길이 5~10mm, 너비 2~4mm이며 양끝이 둥글고

상반부 가장자리에 잔 톱니가 있고  중앙부에 붉은빛이 도는 갈색의 반점이 있다.

과실은 삭과로  3개의 둔한 능선이 있고 겉에 털이 있으며

화서 밖으로 길게 나와 옆으로 처진다

 

꽃은 6~7월에 홍색으로 피고 잎짬에 배상화서로 달린다.

술잔처럼 생긴 총포 속에 1개의 수술로 된 수꽃과 1개의 암술로 된 암꽃이 들어 있고 겉에 짧은 털이 있다.

줄기는 사상으로 지면을 따라 4방으로 퍼지며 잎과 더불어 털이 약간 있으며 왕왕 암홍색이다.
