큰땅빈대(대극과 대극속) Euphorbia hypericifolia L.

줄기는 비스듬히 서며, 높이 20~60cm, 종종 붉은색을 띠고, 한쪽에 털이 난다.

잎은 마주나며 잎맥이 3~5개 있고 가장자리에 둔한 톱니가 있다. 잎 양면은 긴 털이 있고 뒷면은 흰빛이 돈다.

꽃은 가지 끝부분 근처의 잎겨드랑이에 잔 모양의 꽃차례가 다소 긴 자루에 붙는다.
