1. 좀싸리
귀여운 좀싸리가 필 때가 되었을 것 같아서
낙동강 고수부지 풀밭을 휘저으니 줄기 아랫쪽에 한두 송이가 피어 있다.
꽃자루가 유난히 길어서 바람이 조금만 불어도 간들거리는 좀싸리. 동그스름한 3출엽이 귀엽다.

엽액에서 털같이 가는 화경이 나와 윗 부분에 몇개의 꽃이 달려 총상화서를 이루며
꽃은 8-9월에 피고 길이 6mm정도로서 육색 또는 백색이며 소포액에 2개씩 달린다.
꽃받침은 자줏빛이 돌고 깊게 4개로 갈라지며 뒤쪽의 것이 다시 2개로 갈라지고 길이 4-5mm이며 열편이 길고 뾰족하다.
잎은 호생하며 3출엽이고 소엽은 긴 타원형으로서 표면은 녹색이며 털이 없고
뒷면은 회록색이며 잔털이 있고 거치가 없으며 엽병은 길이 2cm정도로서 털이 있다.
높이가 50cm에 달하고 원줄기는 잔털이 약간 있으며 가늘고
한 군데에서 여러 개가 나와 비스듬히 서며 능선이 있고 자줏빛이 돈다.
2. 개싸리
아마 싸리 종류 중에서 털이 가장 많은 녀석이다. 물론 그 다음 털보 녀석으로 괭이싸리가 있지만.
줄기며, 잎 앞뒷면, 꽃자루까지 누르스름한 빛을 띤 털로 덮여 있다.
줄기가 꼿꼿하게 자라며 약간 누른빛을 띤 흰색 꽃을 피운다.

잎은 호생하고 우상 3출복엽이고 탁엽은 선형으로 털이 있다.
중앙소엽은 측소엽보다 크며 타원형 또는 긴 타원형이고 길이 3-6cm이다.
양끝이 둥글고 윗면에 잔털이 있으나 뒷면에는 긴 갈색 밀모가 있으며 엽맥이 도드라져 있다.
8-9월에 가지 끝에서 융모로 덮여 있는 굵고 긴 총상화서가 발달하여 많은 꽃이 달리며
꽃은 길이 7-8mm로서 연한 황백색이고 나비형이며 소화경은 짧으며 털이 있다.
꽃받침은 5개로 깊게 갈라지고 밑부분의 3개는 선형이며 윗부분의 2개는 좀 얕게 갈라지고 모두 긴 갈색 융모로 덮여 있다
잎이 일반 싸리나무들 보다 유난히 크고 두터운 편이다.
