덩굴곽향(꿀풀과 곽향속) Teucrium viscidum var. miquelianum (Maxim.) H.Hara

이름 때문에 덩굴을 감고 있나 싶어서 속을 수 있지만 사실 눈에 보이는 덩굴은 없다. 

다만 땅속 줄기가 길게 옆으로 뻗는다. 그래서 덩국곽향이라 는 이름을 얻었다.

학명상으로 보면 섬곽향 Teucrium viscidum Blume과 원변종 관계이다 

1. 꽃받침에 전체에 잔선모가 밀생한다. 포는 광난형,잎뒷면과 잎자루에 아래로 굽은 잔털이 있다. -------------------덩굴곽향 1. 꽃받침 무모, 혹은 약간의 선모가꽃받침 끝쪽에 산포,  포 광피침형, 식물체에 긴 털이 있다      2.줄기 털이 직모(수평으로 퍼진 털), 위쪽 마디에 긴 털, 크기 20~30cm꽃받침 전체에 직모,약간의 선모 산포-------------------곽향      2. 털이 적거나 줄기의 털이 역모(밑으로 굽은 잔털), 식물체 30~70cm,꽃받침 무모 혹은 약간의 선모가 끝에 산포---------개곽향

 

 꽃은 7~9월에 피고 길이 8~10㎜로서 연한 자색 또는 연한 하늘색이며 총상꽃차례에 달린다 

 

꽃차례는 길이 3~5㎝이며 꽃이 한쪽으로 치우쳐 달리고 밑으로 굽은 잔털이 있다.

 

포는 꽃받침과 길이가 비슷하며 피침형이고 꽃자루가 짧다.

꽃받침 전체에 선모가 밀생한다.

 

엽병 및 잎 뒷면에 밑으로 굽은 잔털이 있다.

잎은 마주나기 하고 얇으며 좁은 또는 넓은 달걀 모양이고 밑부분이 예저이다.
