긴털비름(비름과 비름속) Amaranthus hybridus L.

농경지에 농작물과 함께 혹은 들판에 가장 흔하게 보이는 비름속 녀석이다.

전체에 짧은 털이 있다. 줄기는 곧게 높이 100cm쯤 자란다. 잎몸은 난형, 길이 3.0~4.5cm, 폭 1.5~2.5cm, 양 끝은 뾰족하고 가장자리는 밋밋하다.

꽃은 9~10월에 피는데 줄기 끝이나 위쪽의 잎겨드랑이에 여러 개가 모여 이삭꽃차례를 이룬다. 가지를 치지 않으며 작은 꽃이 빽빽하게 달린다
