가시비름(비름과 비름속) Amaranthus spinosus L.

남아메리카 원산 귀화식물로 제주도 오름이나 길가 목장지대에 퍼져 있다.

잎자루 기부에 2개씩 달린 큰 가시 때문에 소들도 기피하는 종이라 퍼지는 속도가 빠르다.
