탐사 마지막 날 숙소 뒤 공원을 뒤지다가 이 녀석을 발견하고 환호성을 질렀다.
2016년 에 발견했던 국내 미기록종이던 병풀아재비의 논문이 2020년 발표되면서 주변의 식물로 줄현호색도 함께 기록이 되었는데 그래서 최근까지 줄현호색이 꽃쟁이들의 집중적인 화제가 되었던 녀석이었다. 병풀아재비와 함께 발견한 줄현호색이었기에 내게는 특별한 애착이 있는 녀석이었는데.....
종자를 촬영하고서 관사 주변에 던져 놓았던 녀석이 난데 없이 울타리 안에서 싹을 틔워 두어 해 잘 적응하는 모습을 촬영하여 블러그에 올렸더니 내가 마지막으로 근무한 학교까지 알아내어서 사람들이 학교 안에까지 들이닥치기도 했었다.
국내에서 잘 적응하여 살아가길 바랬지만 원발견지 현장을 마구 헤집고 밟아대는 통에 이제는 거의 사라져 버린 녀석이 안타까웠었는데 중국 연길의 공원 숲에서 아주 건강하게 잘 자라는 모습이 어찌나 반갑고 부럽던지.....
