날개현호색(양귀비과 현호색속)

한 시간도 더 달려서 먼 길 갔더니 생각지도 않은 날개현호색이 반겨준다.

이제 피기 시작하는 걸 보니 작년에는 너무 이른 시기라서 이 녀석 개화하는 걸 못 봤을까?

아니면 그냥 현호색이겠거니 하고 스쳐 지나 버렸는지도 모른다.

하기사 오늘 잡목에 옷가지 걸리면서 한 걸음 한 걸음 거북이 걸음으로 이동하다 보니 내 눈에 띄었을 게다.

 

작년에 이 녀석 보자고 포항 먼 길 달려갔었는데 그 곳에서 봤던 녀석도

주로 이렇게 가늘고 긴 댓잎 형태의 잎이 대부분이었고 빗살 형태의 잎도 간혹 있었었다.

 

당연히 화관 양쪽에 작은 날개를 펼치고 있었는데 첨에는 일반적으로 보이는 정도 날개같은 게 아닐까 의심이 되었지만

시든 녀석과 싱싱한 녀석 모두 관찰한 결과 날개현호색임을 확인하고 쾌재를 불렀다.

올해 날개현호색을 보러 가지 못했기 때문이다.  날개현호색의 분포지에 경북 북부지역이 추가되어야 하겠다.

금방 피기 시작하는 싱싱한 녀석이라서 날개를 활짝 펴지 않고 화관에 밀착되어 있었다.

 

 

 

 

이 녀석도 핀지 얼마 되지 않는 녀석이라 날개를 완전히 펼치지는 않았다.

 

이 녀석 시들어 있는 꽃은 완벽하게 날개를 펼치고 있다.

대부분 댓잎 형태의 잎이었지만 이렇게 빗살형태로 결각이 진 잎도 있었다.
