성인봉 계곡부 산비탈에 자생의 울릉 산마늘 어린 싹들이 많이 보인다

울릉도에서는 울릉도 주민으로서 채취 허가를 받아야 산마늘을 채취가 가능하다. 

산자락 밭에서 섬쑥부쟁이, 울릉미역취, 물엉겅퀴와 함께 재배를 많이 하는 모습도 흔하게 볼 수가 있다.
