춘당매라는 매실나무(장미과 벚나무속)

폐교가 된 교정 축대위 언덕에 학교 교사 보다 더 수령이 오래 된 매화나무 4그루가

어릴 적 그리움을 찾는 이들의 발걸음을 부여잡고 있다.

이 곳에서는 춘당매라고 부르고 있었다.
