신종 갈기기름나물(산형과 기름나물속) Peucedanum chujaense K.Kim, S.H.Oh, C.S.Kim & C.W.Park

 

2010년 10월 제주도의 야생화 동호회원들과 함께 추자도 탐사를 간 적이 있다.

 

그 때 해안 산 사면에 있던 이 녀석을 보고 동행하던 청*님이 좀 이상한 녀석이라

난대림연구소 박사님과 함께 관찰하고 있다고 하였다.

 

잎 표면이 광택이 나고 잎의 갈림이 갯사상자와도 다르고 기름나물과도 달라서

특이한 녀석이네 하고 몇 장 사진을 담아 두었더랬다.

 

그 후 거문도와 가거도에서도 이 녀석을 만나보고는 이 곳에도 있구나 했었는데

2019년 2월 갈기기름나물이란 이름으로 신종 발표가 되었다.

 

섬기름나물과 달리 잎이 2회 깃꼴로 갈라지고,

소산형화서에 꽃이 20~24 개 달리고 꽃받침이 뚜렷하고 열편의 길이가 0.4~1mm 로 길며,

종자의 단면이 장타원형이라는 점에서 차이가 있다고 한다.

국명은 줄기 하부에 섬유가 사자의 갈기털 같다고 해서 갈기기름나물이라 했단다.

 

섬기름나물은 한반도 북부 저지대나 해안에 분포하며, 잎이 1회 깃꼴로 갈라지고,

소산형화서에 꽃이 10~18 개 달리고 

꽃받침이 뚜렷하지 않고 열편의 길이가 0.1~0.3m 로 짧으며,

종자 단면이 반원형이라고 한다.

추자도와 거문도의 자생확인으로 봐서는 아마도 남해의 섬에는 이 녀석이 많이 분포하지 않겠나 싶다.

여태 몇 차례 담아 놓고 이름 달아주지 못했던 이 녀석을 살펴 보고자 한다.

그 때는 화서와 꽃받침의 특징을 제대로 잡지 못하였다.

 

 

열매는 납작한 편구형이다

줄기 아래잎은 2회 깃꼴이다

 

2019. 8. 20.  거문도.

아직 어린 개체라서 개화는 안 되었고 잎표면의 반들거림이 크고, 잎이 2회 깃꼴이라서 잎이 풍성해 보인다

 

산능선을 걸으며 탐사하는 중에 일찍 꽃을 피운 녀석을 만났다.

 

 

올해 거문도에서 담은 갈기기름나물이다. (2020.10. 18 )

분과 열매 위에 악편이 뚜렷하게 발달하여 있다.

열매가 납작한 구형이다. 종자를 잘라보지 못하였다.
