사스레피나무(차나무과 사스레피나무속) 열매 Eurya japonica Thunb.

바닷가 산기슭에서 자라는 상록성 떨기나무 또는 작은큰키나무로 높이는 1~3m 정도이다.

꽃이 필 때 향이 사체 썩는 냄새가 난다고 해서 호감을 받지 못하는 녀석이다.

이 녀석 잔가지를 꽃꽃이나 화환의 빈자리를 채우는 마감재료로 많이 쓴다.
