외대으아리(미나리아재비과 으아리속) Clematis brachyura Maxim.

멀리 굽어 휘어진 낙동의 줄기를 굽어 보며

누구를 기다리는 시선일까? 외대으아리 목이 길어진다

 

 

낮은 산지 숲 가장자리와 햇빛이 잘 드는 곳에서 자라는 낙엽성 반떨기나무이다

높이가 1m에 달하며 곧추 또는 비스듬히 자란다. 

 

꽃은 1가화 또는 2가화로서 6~9월에 피며 가지 끝에 1~3개씩 달리고 화피 열편은 4~5개이다

잎은 마주나고, 3~5개의 작은잎으로 구성되며 잎자루와 작은잎자루는 길고 덩굴손처럼 다른 물체를 감는다.
