큰원추리(백합과 원추리속) Hemerocallis middendorffii Trautv. & C. A. Mey., 1856.

길이 8~10cm의 꽃줄기 끝에 3~4개의 꽃이 달린다. 꽃자루는 거의 없다.

포엽은 넓은 난형이고 끝은 뾰족하다.

각시원추리에 비해 꽃줄기가 잎보다 길고 꽃차례가 짧으며 꽃자루가 없고 내화피편이 없으며

포엽의 끝이 꼬리 모양으로 뾰족하므로 구분된다.
